Northshore Special Families (NSF) based in Bothell, Washington, is a parent-led community of families with children with special needs. We offer supported social opportunities or children and families. We welcome families in the North King and South Snohomish county areas to join us! Our Programs

Family Potlucks
Once a month, parents enjoy dinner together while children are supervised by professional childcare respite providers. In this setting, children with special needs practice social skills; neurotypical siblings get to know each other.

Sibshops
Siblings of children with special needs come together for an evening of games, arts, pizza, crafts and friendship.

Mom's Bunko
Monthly game night or mothers and caregivers of children with special needs.

Group Outings
Join us as we attend events together as a group! Activities include seasonal trips to farms, exclusive swimming events or jumping parties, tours and sportings events.

Mom's Spa Night
Mom's and caregivers enjoy a night of pampering and laughter in our annual May event.

Dad's Play Dates
Dads and caregivers meet to play games, watch movies, eat out, and more.

Special Santa
This is our flagship event of the year! Since 2004, we have made it possible for 250 families to have a special visit and picture with Santa. All Santas have experience with children with special needs. Supported crafts and activities for the entire family!
